The property, assembled in a court in the middle of the historical centre, consists of a three-story structure and a large adjoining stable. Through a careful selection of materials and craftsmanship, a great deal of emphasis was placed on the importance of salvaging the original early-nineteenth century structural components to recreate the atmosphere and flavor of the old "cascine" that are typical of Italy’s north regions.

A SECRET REFUGE...
The master house and rural buildings, located close to Milano, in the Oltrepo` Pavese area, were saved from a serious state of ruin with a precise and refined restructuring project. The project's success relied on the skill and knowledge of local artisans, whose help was often necessary.
